What Is Hypnosis?                                                                                                     Back

Hypnosis is a system of methods that enhances the positive communication between the

conscious and the subconscious mind. It is a natural state that makes it possible to create a mind

and body integration.

Through various induction techniques, you can enter into a state of mind which is similar to day-dreaming. This is called a trance. Induction techniques may include imagery methods, focusing concentration, and forms of passive relaxation, meditation, and positive suggestion.

The trance state is characterized by a level of consciousness in which an individual’s awareness permits easy absorption into the experience and acceptance of new ideas and changes of thought.

At all times while you are in the trance, you are aware of where you are and what you are doing. You are aware of surroundings and events, but are absorbed in ideas, imagery, or thoughts. Although you are in a trance, you are in control at all times.

What Is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a dynamic, safe, short-term process through which you can become empowered to create lasting and positive changes in your life. Hypnotherapy uses Hypnosis, as well as counseling and education, as tools to help you connect to your truest inner self and develop a mind-body connection.

This connection establishes positive communication between the conscious and subconscious mind. Through this connection and communication, successful positive change can be realized in many emotional, psychological, and physical aspects of living. You can become well, balanced, and whole.
